What makes Mudita Candle Co products different?

Since 2020, we've prided ourselves on making high-quality candles that are easy on the environment and your wallet. Our scents are inspired by personal memories, and our products were created to elevate your everyday. The result is luxury fragrance and relatable candles you can feel good about, and create moments of self care.

What ingredients do you use?

All of our ingredients are thoughtfully sourced to create safe, sustainable products that are vegan, cruelty-free, phthalate-free, and never tested on animals. 

Our candles are made with 100% domestically-grown soy wax, cotton core wicks, and a blend of fine fragrance oils that consist of natural and man-made materials.

Do you use synthetic fragrances?

Great question! We use a premium blend of man-made and natural fragrances for our collections, as they 1) allow us to create more complex scent profiles; 2) are oftentimes, more sustainable to produce; and, 3) allow us to offer our products at accessible price points.

How do I burn the candle?

We suggest burning the 9oz jars for 3-4 hours each time for maximum scent release and even wax levels. Always trim the wick to 1/4 inch each time before lighting. 

How fragrant are your products?

Our products have been tested, and are constantly tested to ensure the "hot throw", (the strength of the scent in the room), is perfect! There are a lot of factors that go into how a candle will burn in your home, such as air flow, the size of the room, other smells lingering in your home, the humidity level outside, and ceiling height. At times, we can light a candle and not notice the scent until we leave the room for a minute or two and return (ensuring the candle is never unattended).

Our candles are 9oz, so we always recommend burning them in Small and Medium spaces to ensure a well-scented space.

Can I sell your products in my retail shop/online store/salon? 

YES! We love to wholesale our candles. Please check out our wholesale site

Can I carry these on an airplane?

You can carry our products on an airplane! But please note that TSA will probably stop your bag and want to look inside the candle. Gel candles (which ours are NOT!), are not allowed on an airplane, so they are checking to make sure it’s a solid wax candle. They usually swab them as part of their process, but that's about it! To avoid being stopped by TSA, we take our candles out of our bags and place them on a bin, that way our bags are not searched. 

If you want to avoid TSA, you can check them in your luggage if it’s not too hot outside. Be sure to wrap it, as the jar is glass.

Something broke in shipment/I got the wrong candle/help?

Please email us at info@muditacandleco.com and we'll fix the problem right away!

What if my package was damaged during transit?

Due to the summer heat, melted or leaky candles may occur in transit. If you receive a melted candle in transit, please reach out to info@muditacandleco.com with your order number and proof of damage to request a replacement within 48 hours of receiving your shipment. Please avoid leaving your packages outside in the hot summer sun when possible. Thank you for your understanding! 

Do you ship internationally?

Yes we do! Please email us to get exact quotes as it can be pricey to ship internationally as our candles can be pretty heavy.

Can I send my order as a gift?

Yes! Mudita Candles make perfect gifts for any occasion. Invoices are not included in orders, so gift recipients will not see the price of the order. We also love to include gift messages in our orders, simply add the special note in the "notes" section in the checkout page and we will include it in the order!
